Kobo Plus Read: Driving Subscriptions Through Content-Focused Design
Summary
Rakuten Kobo was set to launch their new subscription service for their eBooks. With this launch, the creative team was set out to not only create the branding but also produce all localized marketing materials. The main goal for the launch is to gain monthly subscriptions for Kobo’s all-you-can-read subscription service.
Campaign Results
Achieved over 2000 subscriptions on the first day and a total of over 100,000 subscribers worldwide.
As the Lead Designer and Art Director for Kobo Plus Read,
I led the visual strategy for Kobo's inaugural all-you-can-read subscription service. With collaboration with the UX team, I created the visuals and UI components for the landing page based on the wireframe that they provided. To support this landing page, I also created the branding, logo design, print and digital marketing assets.
